1. Acceptance of Terms

By downloading, installing, or using the AncientCoach mobile application ("App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the App.

2. Description of Service

AncientCoach provides an AI-powered coaching experience featuring conversations with historical figures. The service includes:

• Access to AI representations of historical personalities
• Personalized coaching conversations
• Goal tracking and progress monitoring
• Educational content and wisdom from various historical periods

3. User Accounts

Account Creation

To use AncientCoach, you must:

• Be at least 13 years of age
• Provide accurate and complete information
• Maintain the security of your account credentials
• Notify us immediately of any unauthorized access

Account Responsibilities

You are responsible for all activities that occur under your account. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.

4. Subscription and Payment

Free Trial

New users receive a 7-day free trial with full access to all features. The trial automatically converts to a paid subscription unless cancelled.

Subscription Plans

• Monthly: $9.99 per month
• Annual: $89.99 per year (save 25%)

Payment Processing

All payments are processed through Apple's App Store. Subscription management, including cancellations and refunds, must be handled through your Apple ID account settings.

Auto-Renewal

Subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Your account will be charged for renewal within 24 hours prior to the end of the current period.

5. Acceptable Use Policy

You agree not to:

• Use the App for any illegal or unauthorized purpose
• Attempt to manipulate or exploit the AI system
• Share inappropriate, offensive, or harmful content
• Impersonate others or provide false information
• Reverse engineer or attempt to extract source code
• Use the App to harm, threaten, or harass others
• Violate any applicable laws or regulations

6. Intellectual Property

Our Content

All content, features, and functionality of AncientCoach, including but not limited to text, graphics, logos, icons, images, audio clips, and software, are owned by AncientCoach Inc. or its licensors and are protected by international copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.

Your Content

You retain ownership of any content you create through the App. By using the App, you grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to use, store, and process your content solely for the purpose of providing and improving our services.

7. AI Disclaimer and Limitations

IMPORTANT: The AI coaches in AncientCoach are:

• Artificial representations based on historical information
• Not actual historical figures or their official representatives
• For educational and motivational purposes only
• Not substitutes for professional advice (medical, legal, financial, etc.)

We make no guarantees about the accuracy, completeness, or applicability of any guidance provided by AI coaches. Users should exercise their own judgment and seek professional advice when needed.

Your use of AncientCoach is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference. Please review our Privacy Policy to understand our practices.

9. Disclaimer of Warranties

THE APP IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO:

• Merchantability
• Fitness for a particular purpose
• Non-infringement
• Accuracy or reliability of information
• Uninterrupted or error-free operation

10. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, ANCIENTCOACH INC. SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR:

• Any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages
• Loss of profits, data, use, goodwill, or other intangible losses
• Damages exceeding the amount you paid to us in the past twelve months
• Any matter beyond our reasonable control

11. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless AncientCoach Inc., its officers, directors, employees, agents, and affiliates from any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, and expenses (including attorney's fees) arising from your use of the App or violation of these Terms.

12. Modifications to Service

We reserve the right to:

• Modify or discontinue the App at any time
• Change subscription prices with 30 days' notice
• Update features and functionality
• Limit access to certain features

13. Termination

We may terminate or suspend your account immediately, without prior notice, for:

• Breach of these Terms
• Conduct we believe is harmful to other users or us
• At our sole discretion for any reason

Upon termination, your right to use the App will cease immediately.
